Master jan Lappin
Master Jan Lappin is a 5th-degree master black belt in Tang Soo Do, a black belt in Judo, a level 4 instructor in Ki Gong, and a certified verbal judo instructor. An accomplished tournament champion, Master Lappin combines her extensive martial arts expertise with a deep passion for developing successful young adults through life-skill and leadership training.
Graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Psychology, she was one of the first female Regional Executives and the manager of a highly successful team within Prudential Insurance. She opened Middleburg Martial Arts in 2001 and grew it to achieve a profit of nearly $500,000 annually in a single location. She has been featured in Martial Arts Success Magazine for her unique life-skill development program.

Master Greg Macy
Master Greg Macy’s journey in martial arts began at age seven at Mile High Karate in Lakewood, Colorado, under the mentorship of Grandmaster Stephen Oliver and international kickboxing champion Jeff Smith. He earned his 1st-degree Black Belt at just 13 years old and continued to teach and train while pursuing a degree in Chemistry at the University of Colorado.
After an entrepreneurial career in hydro-engineering, Master Macy sold a successful million-dollar company to follow his passion and founded Ripple Effect Martial Arts. Master Macy’s extensive martial arts experience, combined with his strong business background, ensures that Ripple Effect thrives both as a martial arts institution and as a successful business.

Master Rachael Macy
Master Rachael Macy is a 4th-degree master black belt in Tang Soo Do under the guidance of Master Jim DeBacca, a legendary competitor, trainer, and martial arts instructor. Her early passion for Tang Soo Do and teaching others set the foundation for a lifelong commitment to martial arts.
She also holds a degree in Marketing, which she leverages to drive the business growth and sustainability of her martial arts schools. At 18, she founded a successful wedding & event planning company. After returning to the martial arts industry, she managed Middleburg Martial Arts for Jan Lappin. Together they brought the school to a gross revenue of $1,540,000. Along with Master Greg Macy, she owns and operates six Ripple Effect Martial Arts schools in Colorado and Florida.
